Write for ReligionAndSpirituality.com
This is a venue for people who are passionate about
their writing on spiritually-oriented matters.
The sole agenda of United Press International،¦s ReligionAndSpirituality.com is to be a vehicle for enhancing the quality of public discourse about religion and belief.
And that،¦s where you come in (you already know who you are).
We welcome thoughtfully-written articles of religious opinion on any topic and from any perspective, but naturally we cannot guarantee that any submission received will be published. On the other hand, getting published here is not terribly difficult either.
We go to great effort to be respectful and inclusive of all faiths. We are partial to good writing and require that writers operate within the normally accepted bounds of civility. We could list all kinds of specifics on that matter but it starts to get tedious and so that،¦s all we have to say at this point.
How to begin
Download and read these two documents:
1. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
2. Template for Guest Commentary
Follow the template for preparing your article of around 600-1000 words (give or take). Note how to write the slugline, suggested headline and brief teaser (abstract). Don،¦t forget your brief biography at the end (a couple of sentences), website and email address.
Send the finished piece to Editor@ReligionAndSpirituality.com.
